SUEDE, the British rock band will be coming to Kuala Lumpur for the first time!  

 

Suede will perform "SUEDE Live in Kuala Lumpur" at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on August 27. Fans in Malaysia are eagerly anticipating watching the iconic band perform for the first time in Kuala Lumpur. 

 

Formed in London in 1989, Suede is recognized as a key Britpop band alongside Blur, Pulp, and Oasis. Britpop, a type of alternative rock that originated in the United Kingdom, was a major musical trend of the 1990s, offering a brighter, catchier contrast to the darker, introspective American grunge. 

 

The band made a smashing debut with debut album "Suede," which combined pop and punk with glam rock, topping the Official UK Albums Chart and winning the Mercury Music Prize, given to the best album of the year released in the UK and Ireland. 

 

Lead singer Brett Anderson’s wide-ranging voice and androgynous look, as well as the band’s musical style blending 1960s British pop, glam rock, 1970s punk, and 1980s indie pop with a sense of decadence, made Suede a widely acclaimed band. In 1996, Suede's third album, "Coming Up," was released, achieving the highest sales and commercial success for the band. This album, which provides a perfect balance between joy and melancholy, topped the Official UK Albums Chart once again and captivated audiences worldwide, including in the US, Europe, and Asia. 

 

Suede have released a total of nine studio albums, including their latest album "Autofiction" in 2022. 

 

Suede’s return to the live stage continues with a global tour, including performances in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, and several countries in Europe, featuring classic hits and tracks from "Autofiction."

Pricing & Fee Information

  1. Maximum 4 tickets per transaction.

  2. Ticket prices are subject to a RM4.00 booking fee per ticket and a RM10.00 transaction fee per transaction.

  1. Please present your ticket(s) to enter the venue. Each ticket admits one (1) individual only.

  2. Each ticket is attached with a UNIQUE QR code (one-time use only) which will be scanned upon venue admission. Please refrain from posting your e-ticket(s) online or share it with others to prevent forgery.

  3. No admission for children aged 7 years old or below.

  4. Tickets are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

  5. Ticket is subject to booking fee and transaction fee.

  6. Once your transaction is completed and confirmed, no refunds or exchanges will be entertained.

  7. The organizer shall not be liable or responsible for any lost or stolen ticket.

  8. The resale of tickets at the same or higher value than the initial purchase price is prohibited. The organizer reserves the right to cancel tickets that have not been purchased from www.etix.my.

  9. The organizer reserves the right to deny admission and cancel any tickets that breach the venue or ticketing T&C without any refund.

  10. No smoking or vaping is allowed.

  11. No pets allowed.

  12. Photography with smartphones ( camera equipment is not allowed) is permitted inside the venue, but live streaming on various social media platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, etc) is prohibited. Furthermore, please refrain from using flash as it is not allowed due to production requirements.

  13. No weapon, sharp object, explosive, toxic, flammable, narcotic, or other item that may cause a potential safety hazard or disturbance to the event is allowed.

  14. No outside food or beverages are allowed.

  15. No noisemakers, balloons, large signs (bigger than A3 size: 42cm x 29.7cm), large bags (bigger than 35cm x 20cm), selfie sticks, long umbrellas, laser pointers, or other items that would cause interference or disturbance to another individual or the event are allowed.

  16. No unofficial show merchandise or light sticks are allowed.

  17. The organizer reserves the right to carry out body and bag checks for security purposes upon entering the venue.

  18. The organizer reserves the right to revise the event time, venue layout, and audience capacity without prior notice.

  19. If an Event is being cancelled or postponed, or if the venue or content is significantly changed, we will do our best to inform all user. However, it is the responsibility of the user to keep themselves updated with the event information. The organizer and ticketing agent would not be held liable for any expenses you may incur in respect travel, accommodation, or otherwise arising from cancellation or postponement of an Event.

  20. Wearing a face mask during the event is advisable for your own health concern.
